Step 1 Raise the Engine home at the shock to be replaced use the floor jack. Place it on a jack stand at the braces rail. Step 2 Loosen the inferior shock Frame nut by rotation it counterclockwise, but do not to remove it. Step 3 Remove the top shock Frame bolt by rotation its nut counterclockwise, then traction the bolt directly out of the eyelet. Some models may to have two vertical bolts that catch a Frame plate to the eyelet of the shock; to remove them by rotation them counterclockwise. Step 4 Remove the inferior shock Frame nut, then slide the shock off the Frame bolt. The shock be released and drop out of the Engine home. Step 5 Replace the shock with a new unit by positioning it in the top Frame first, then fixing the top Frame bolt or dish by rotation the material clockwise until snug. Step 6 Cut the keeper strap on the shock body, and slide the inferior shock eyelet Above the inferior mount bolt as it passages by. The shock expand when the strap is cut, and it slowly drop to the correct level. If the shock increase too far, it may be difficult to compress. Step 7 Tighten the inferior shock Frame nut in a in the direction of the needles of a watch direction. Step 8 Lower the Engine home of the jack stand with the floor jack. Step 9 Repeat the process on the to remain shocks.
