The HP LaserJet 2300 Furnace is an important part of the printer. It heat the to thunder and pig iron and cast iron it to the page.   • Step 1

    Verify that the printer is actuated off. to leave it to sit for 15 minutes so that the Furnace can cool. The Furnace gets very hot and can cause serious burns if you aren't careful. to remove the paper Plate and set it aside.

  • Step 2

    Remove the I/O cover and the DIMM cover. Turn the printer around so that you can see the Back of the device. Press the two release buttons on the I/O cover and Traction it out and off of the DIMM cover. opened the to thunder access carry to exposure the right-hand side cover release tab. Press the tab and slide the DIMM cover towards the front of the printer. Traction the DIMM cover far from the printer and set it aside.

  • Step 3

    Open the Back access door. In order to completely opened the Back cover, you the need to Disengagement the two pins on each one side. Release the pins, and opened the Back cover. To place the two Phillips-head screw that catch the Back cover in place. Use your screwdriver to to remove both screws. to remove the Back cover by pressing the labels on each one side of the Plate 2 cavity. Pry the labels gently with your flat-blade screwdriver while Traction the Back cover back and down. Set the Back cover aside.

  • Step 4

    Remove the two Phillips-head screw from the Furnace cover. To place the tab on each one side of the Furnace cover. Press the labels and while Traction the Furnace cover far from the printer. Set the Furnace cover aside.

  • Step 5

    Identify the three élém. élect. connectors that to connect the Furnace to the engine board. disconnection the three connectors of the board. The largest connecter has a tab that needs to be pressed in order to release it. Use your flat-blade driver to release.

  • Step 6

    Locate the two screw that blocked the Furnace to the printer frame. The screw anchor in the bottom metal Dish of the fuser. Use your Phillips-head driver to to remove the screws.

    Grab the Furnace and Traction it out of the Back of the printer.

    Install the new Furnace into the printer and blocked it use the two Phillips-head screws. attaches the three connectors of the Furnace into the engine board.

  • Step 9

    Reinstall the Back cover. Place the top of the Back cover in place first, then slide the cover in place so that the bottom labels insert in the slits in the printer frame. blocked the Back cover with the two screws. end the Back door. to reinstall the DIMM cover and the I/O cover.
